Obituary of Margaret Doreen Zeoli

Margaret Doreen Zeoli GENEVA- Margaret Doreen Zeoli, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday (March 4, 2017), at Geneva General Hospital, with her daughters and family by her side. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wed. (March 8), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thurs. (March 9), in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456, or Martha Ministry, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456. Margaret was born on May 29, 1931, in Waterloo and was a daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie (Legott) Laquitara. She worked for many years at Hulse Manufacturing in Geneva. Margaret was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, the Rosary Society and Martha Ministry. She enjoyed cooking, baking and most importantly, spending time with her family. Margaret was the matriarch of her family and was a very kind and generous person with a gentle soul. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Peter M. Zeoli of Geneva; daughters, Cindy Perry of Geneva and Christine (Michael) Calabrese of Geneva; best friend and sister-in-law, Marie Laquitara of Geneva; sister-in-law, Irene Laquitara of Waterloo; brother-in-law, Tony Ciancaglini; granddaughter, Andrea (Robert) Bouffiou; great-granddaughter, whom she loved dearly, Leah Bouffiou; several nieces and nephews who she adored. Margaret was predeceased by her son-in-law, Tommy Perry; siblings, William Laquitara, Joseph Laquitara, Anthony (Kate) Farlo, James (Dorthea) Farlo, Catherine Lehman and Rose Ciancaglini.
