Bernadine "Gail" Tiaskkun GENEVA - Bernadine Gail Tiaskkun, 69, of Lenox Rd., Geneva, passed away peacefully at her home on Sat. (February 9, 2013) with her daughter and companion by her side, after a brief battle with cancer. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wed. (Feb. 13), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterloo. Contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620 in Gail's memory. Gail was born in Mansfield, Penn. on Jan. 17, 1944, the daughter of the late Sue and Charles Vaughn. She attended Mansfield High School and later worked at her Mother's restaurant in Painted Post, N.Y. Gail then worked for Dr. Benjamin Wong at the Seneca Falls Hospital. She began employment at the Willard Psychiatric Center for several years and then at the Newark DDSO. Lastly, she worked as a Home Health Aide in Ontario County and retired in 1998. Gail's hobbies included painting with water colors and oils, boating, going to Old Forge in the fall and to Florida during the winter months. Her favorite area was Anna Maria Island, Fla. Gail is survived by her daughter, Renee Tiaskkun of Geneva; the love of her life and companion for 23 years, John Bonacci of Geneva; brothers, James Gardner of Big Flats, N.Y. and Tim Welch of Elkland, Penn.; sisters, Sonja Potter of Creseptown, Md. and Georgia Gardner of Fla.; several nieces and nephews. Gail will be sadly missed by all.
