Obituary of Steven W. Coleman

Steven W. Coleman VICTOR- Steven W. Coleman, 55, passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Tues. (May 9, 2017), at home. Family and friends may attend visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Sat. (May 13), at Willowbrook Christian Church, 619 High St. Victor, NY. The assembly will follow at 2 p.m. in the church with Minister Jon Walker officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Open Door Mission, 156 Plymouth Ave. N, Rochester, NY 14608, or the Victor/Farmington Food Cupboard, 1246 Commercial Dr. #B, Farmington, NY 14425. Steven was born on July 17, 1961, in Wayne, NJ and was a son of Wesley Coleman and the late Helen (Rech) Coleman. He worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch in Pittsford for over 10 years. Steven was a member of Trout's Unlimited, the Canandaigua Gun Club and was a former Scout Master. He enjoyed competitive shooting, fishing, woodworking and Formula 1 racing. Steven was a devoted member of Willowbrook Christian Church in Victor and he truly cherished his relationship with Jesus Christ. As a loving husband and father he is survived by his wife, Karen (Catlin) Coleman of Victor; son, Sean Coleman of Victor. Steve is also survived by his father, Wesley Coleman of South Hero, VT; siblings, Karen (Richard) Sadles of Poquoson, VA, Glenn (Laura) Coleman of Chester, NJ and John (Kelly) Coleman of Long Valley, NJ; several nieces and nephews.
