Obituary of Rosalia J. Teets

Rosalia "Posie" J. Teets GENEVA- Rosalia "Posie" J. Teets, 68, passed away on Sun. (May 21, 2017), at Clifton Springs Hospital. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Tues. (May 30), in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Finger Lakes Oncology and Hematology, 6 Ambulance Drive, Clifton Springs, NY 14432. Posie was born on June 25, 1948, in Dansville, NY and was a daughter of the late Samuel and June (McNaughton) Zaso. She Attended Geneva High School and worked as a home health aide for many years. Posie enjoyed shopping and doing crossword puzzles, but above all, she loved the holidays and the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David Teets; sons, Christopher (Heather) Teets, Daniel Teets and David Teets, Jr; grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Roberts and Tyler Teets; great-granddaughter, Gianna Roberts; siblings, Tim (Linnie) Zaso, John (Lori) Zaso, Ronald (Lisa Pulver) Zaso, Joann Principio, Sandy (Lou) Ferrara, Becky (Bill) Cerrato and Nancy (Bill) Cosentino; brothers-in-law, Jack Glynn, Ed (Terri) Teets, Howard (Debbie) Teets; sister-in-law Pam Teets; aunts, Mona Perry and Diane Bailey; faithful companion, Oliver and a host of nieces and nephews. Posie joins in Heaven, her parents; sisters, Linda Glynn and Sandra Zaso; parents-in-law, Doris and David Teets; brothers-in-law, Gary Teets and Joseph Principio.
