Obituary of Ida M. Guerriri

Ida M. (DeRosa-Salato) Guerriri CANANDAIGUA- Ida M. (DeRosa-Salato) Guerriri, 86, passed away peacefully, in Florida, on Wed. (Feb. 6, 2013), with her family by her side. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon. (Feb. 18), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. A private burial will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society 1120 Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14520. Ida was born Jan. 4, 1927 in Canandaigua, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose DeRosa. She is survived by her children, Linda (Charles) Lee, Cynthia (Nicolas) Gonzalez, Pamela (Dana) Ruggles, Mary Jo (Dennis Matthews) Cook, Steven Guerriri and Lucille (Scott) Bissell; daughters-in-law, Shawna Salato and Sally Guerriri; sisters and brother, Madeline Pacilio, Margaret Mauro, Rosie Lenzi and Donato DeRosa; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald (Julie) Guerriri, Robert (Diane) Guerriri and Joyce (Bob) Smith; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ida was predeceased by her husband, Alfred J. Guerriri; sons, Thomas A. Salato and Alfred "Allie" Guerriri, Jr.; brother, Frank (Yolanda) DeRosa; sisters, Vicentia (William) Rizzi and Helen (Santo) Catalfamo; sister-in-law, Janet DeRosa; brothers-in-law, Peter Pacilio, Victor "Ted" Mauro and Vincent J. Lenzi. .
