Obituary of Mark W. Rager

Mark W. Rager GENEVA- Mark W. Rager, 47, passed away peacefully and after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sat. (Sept. 9, 2017, at the Geneva Living Center North, with his loving wife by his side. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Fri. (Sept. 15), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers and contributions, please remember Mark in your own special way. Mark was born on Oct. 9, 1969, in Geneva and was a son of William "Bill" and Donna (Pane) Rager. Mark worked as a legal secretary in the law office of Midey, Mirras and Ricci, in Seneca Falls. He was an avid Yankees and Jets fan and was a member of C.J. Folger Hook and Ladder. Mark especially enjoyed being with his wife Lisa, who was the love of his life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa (Bonventre) Rager of Geneva; parents, Bill and Donna Rager of Geneva; brother, Scott (Nicole) Rager of Seneca Falls; brothers-in-law, Michael (Staci) Bonventre and Steve (Barb) DeBolt; nieces, Dr. Chelsea Debolt, Isabella and Mariana Bonventre; nephew, Jordan (Tricia TenEyck) DeBolt; aunt, Joanne Mahoney of Geneva; cousins, Steven and Peggy Mahoney. Mark was predeceased by his in-laws, Vito and Josephine (Augustine) Bonventre; sister-in-law, Ann Bonventre DeBolt and infant twin nieces, Jahna and Nicholle Bonventre Lisa would like to thank Dr. Kleiner and staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center on Reed St. Geneva, Dr. Milano and staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong, the staff at Living Center North and Bianca Quartaro and the 3 North staff at Geneva General Hospital, for their exceptional care.
