One of the kindest, gentlest men God has ever put on the Earth; humble and filled with humanity. Italians have two words -- gentile and simpatico -- both basically meaning kind, and I would use both to describe Tony. Speaking of Italy, I couldn't be more proud that I was able to help him visit the Old Country three times, especially his beloved Sicily (to say nothing of getting a round of golf in with Rusty and Tom C in Tuscany!) I'm just glad we didn't lose him in Venice, like I was afraid we had. But that's another whole story. I was proud, too, to bring him to my dad's village where he met our friends and relatives and quickly made friends of them. He also made me look good in my stints as President of the Sons of Italy the way he kept the books and paid the bills. I can't say enough about my friend Tony. He treated my wife like gold and always made us feel on top of the world when he saw us, like it was the most important thing in his day. He leaves us with amazing memories. Rest in Peace, Tony, and hit 'em straight!

To all the family of Tony,
I had the greatest admiration for this man while I was involved in the Sons of Italy!
I could only wish for 1/2 of the kindness Tony showed for his fellow man and always said a kind word to everyone he met. He will be sadly missed, what a wonderful person!
Sincerely, Jim & Shelly Marshall

Sandy and Mickey, and family,
We were so saddened to learn of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful man. We had just seen him at the last fish fry at the Sons, and he looked as lively as ever.
May the memories you hold dear keep him close to your hearts.
Love,
Ginger and Art

While we knew this day would eventually have to come to pass, Pam and I are still very saddened now that it is here. Tony was just one of those people you just couldn't help but like. His personality, his attitude toward life, and the way he lived his life were all things I admired about him. He will be missed by many. You have our sincere condolences.

Tony was a true gentleman. When running into him at Deluxe, the Field House or Big Oak he always had a smile on his face, kind words to say and a warm handshake ready for you. It was a pleasure to chat with him even for a moment or two. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.
