Obituary of Amy L. Taylor

Amy L. Taylor GENEVA- Amy L. Taylor, 36, passed away peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Tues. (Nov. 21, 2017), surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Mon. (Nov. 27) and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tues. (Nov. 28), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tues. (Nov. 28), in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Amy's children's education fund, c/o Bob A. Galasso, Sr., 63 Ridgewood Ave. Geneva, NY 14456. Amy was born on Aug. 28, 1981, in Dansville, NY and was a daughter of Bruce Taylor and the late Peggy Merklinger Taylor. She was a member of the graduating class of 2000 from Naples High School. Amy worked as a health aide at Geneva General Hospital, Visiting Nurses and Ontario County ARC. She enjoyed camping, arts and crafts, her dogs Autumn, Hope and Mugsy and above all, her children. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Galasso, Jr. of Geneva; children, Amber Taylor of Geneva, Jasmine Taylor of Geneva; step-daughters, Karissa Galasso of Geneva and Myranda Garza of Waterloo; father, Bruce Taylor of Canandaigua; twin sister, Leigh (Alicia) Taylor of Waterloo; brother, Brian Taylor of Canandaigua; grandparents, Janet and Harold Taylor; nieces, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob A. Galasso, Sr. and Sharon Galasso of Geneva; sister-in-law, Shannon (Glen) Reidnauer of Allentown, PA; nieces, Samantha and Allison Reidnauer. Amy was predeceased by her mother, Peggy Merklinger Taylor; grandfather, aunts and uncles.
