Obituary of Linda M. Korbel

Linda M. Korbel WATERLOO- Linda M. Korbel, 72, passed from this life into the loving Arms of Jesus on March 28, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tues. (April 3), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Lansing Cemetery. Linda was born on March 9, 1946, in Massena, NY and was a daughter of the late Stephen and Thelma (LaVaire) Losey. She worked in her twenties as a drill press operator at the Ithaca Gun Company for 10 years. Linda worked for 13 years as a certified nursing assistant and for 18 years as a home health hospice aid at Finger Lakes Nursing Service, retiring in 2015. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill , who she married on July 9, 1989; 2 loving daughters, Kimberly Kent Wyant of Cortland and Kelly Kent of Romulus; 2 loving sons, Charles Kent and Bill Garrapy of Dryden, NY; 2 brothers, Allen Losey of Massena and Daniel Losey of Cortland; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 3 special granddaughters, Brittany Fox of White House, TN, Madison Kent of Romulus and her Earth Angel, Caylin Coley of Waterloo, who had the biggest impact on her life; 3 loving little dogs, Dolly, Jilly and Meka, who meant the world to her. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her first husband, Charles "Sonny" Kent, whom she married on June 26, 1965. He passed on July 31, 1987; 3 brothers, Gary, Jim and her lifetime best friend, Steve.
