Obituary of Lee Norris Collins

Lee Norris Collins GENEVA- Lee Norris Collins, 67, passed into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday (April 1, 2018), at Geneva General Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Mon. (April 9), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tues. (April 10), at St. Paul's Full Gospel Baptist Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Roger Williams Memorial Scholarship c/o AAMA P.O. Box 98 Geneva, NY 14456. Lee was born on May 12, 1950, in Sanford, Fla. and was a son of the late Calvin Collins Sr. and Bertha Mae Galloway Collins. He worked for 25 years at the American Can Company in Fairport NY, for Collins Construction, for C.R. Zornow and lastly at Seneca Meadows, as a heavy equipment operator. Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed camping and a love of the great outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends especially his granddaughter, Morgan Collins. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn (Stokes) Collins of Geneva; son, Lee Collins of Geneva; daughter, Yevette Collins of Rochester; brothers, Dr. Calvin (Lottie) Collins of Longwood, Fla, Arthur (Leola) Collins of Sanford, Fla., Walter (Rosa) Miller of Sanford, Fla., Fred (Sharon) Johnson of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Roosevelt (Beulah) Collins of Penn Yan, Morris Collins of Rochester, Anthony (Trudy) Collins of Winterville, NC,; sisters, Annie Mae Branch of Sanford, Fla., Margaret Davis of Sanford, Fla., Shirley Woody of Debary, Fla. and Dorothy Miller of Rochester; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Williams of Geneva, Oper Jean of Sanford Fla, and Lillian Collins of Geneva; brothers-in-law, Ron Stokes of Houston, TX, Donnie Williams of NYC, Charlie (Mary Louise) Williams, Jr. of Rochester and Ted Williams of Syracuse; granddaughter, Morgan Collins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lee was predeceased by his mother, Bertha Mae Galloway Collins; father and step-mother, Calvin Sr. and Elizabeth Collins; brothers, Sam Collins, Horace Collins, Lloyd Collins, and Theodore Collins; sister, Syble Collins Robinson and Sivalrie Riley; sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson; brother-in-law, Roger Williams.
