Joyce A. Wyffels
GENEVA- Joyce A. Wyffels, 70, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (Aug. 9, 2018), at the Geneva Living Center South. In honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. The burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Joyce was born on Oct. 8, 1947 in Montour Falls and was a daughter of the late William H. and Elizabeth Jean (Simpson) Wyre. She worked for many years and retired from Geneva General Hospital. Joyce enjoyed Elvis, NASCAR and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy R. Wyffels of Geneva and Charles (Debbie) Wyffels of Calif.; daughters, Loretta (Russ) Nagle of Nevada and Marsha Hunt of Wyoming; brother, Chuck (Anne) Wyre of Fla.; grandchildren, Kenneth (Kelli), Austin, Tristin, Jack and Taiden, Cassandra, Tyler, Kyle and Jayla; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Wyre, William E. Wyre and granddaughter, Olivia Nagle; previous husband, Chuck Wyffels and life partner, Duane Bates.
