GENEVA- Charles E. McFadden, 83, passed away peacefully into the Arms of his Lord and Savior on Sun. (Aug. 19, 2018), at home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon. (Aug. 27), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

 

Charles was born on July 12, 1935, in Bristol, Fla. and was a son of the late Irene Beatrice Moore Leonard. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Charles then worked in agriculture. He loved sports, especially football. He will always be remembered for his generosity and always speaking his mind. Everyone loved him.

 

He is survived by his children, Vicky (Larry) Smith of Atlanta, GA, Karen McFadden of Zellwood, Fla. and Vincent McFadden of Sanford, Fla.; brothers, Lawrence Garmon and Reginald Leonard; sister, Jackie Leonard Stollings; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special niece and caretaker, Lullie Wethington of Geneva; special niece Felicia McFadden and several other nieces and nephews.

 

Charles was predeceased by his wife, Addie Jo (Standifer) McFadden; brother, Henry Moore; sisters, Corinne Moore and Janie McFadden; son, Victor Charles McFadden; daughter, Veronica Standifer; daughter-in-law, Peggy McFadden.
