GENEVA- Lillian "Kelly" E. Guererri, 78, passed away peacefully on Sun. (Nov. 4, 2018), at home. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs. (Nov. 8), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Fri. (Nov. 9), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St. Waterloo, NY 13165. Kelly was born on June 9, 1940, in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Foster and Marion (Dusinberre) Pederson. She was a graduate of Geneva High School, Class of 1958. Kelly was 4 years old when she experienced her first time on stage, while her grandfather was a square dancer caller. She started singing professionally in the 1970's with "Kelly and Company". In 1984, Kelly moved to Fla. and continued to perform with "Kelly and the Mesa Band". While in Fla., she was a member of the Country Music Association. For 6 years in a row, Kelly received "Female Vocalist of the Year". In 1988, she recorded an album, "Rodeo Queen" and in 1989 received "Song of the Year" in Yorkshire, England for the track, "Heartache Comes Looking for You". After facing many illnesses, Kelly retired to enjoy her family, whom she loved very much. She is survived by her loving husband, Salvatore "Sam" Guererri of Geneva; children, Darlene (Jon) Buesing of Waynesville, NC, George (Teresa) Farris of Cincinnati, OH, Jenifer (Gary) Hammons of Lexington, KY, Pamela (Phil) Guererri Hernon of Geneva, Crystelyn (Jeff) Guererri of Canandaigua, September (Jason) Hergert of Geneva, Samilyn Guererri of Pennsville, NJ and Jason Guererri of Pennsville, NJ; brother-in-law, Carmen "Chip" (Carol) Guererri of Geneva; sisters-in-law, Rosanne (John) DeSain of Geneva and Violet Guererri of Geneva; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Kelly was predeceased by her parents, Foster and Marion (Dusinberre) Pederson; grandparents, Archie and Lillian Dusinberre; sister, Darlene Renee Pederson and brother-in-law, Peter Guererri.
