Obituary of Fiore Norelli

ROME/GENEVA- Fiore Norelli, Jr., 86, passed away peacefully on Fri. (Dec. 21, 2018), at the Presbyterian Home, New Hartford, NY. In honoring his wishes, a private burial service will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Fiore was born on June 14, 1932 in Rome, NY and was a son of the late Fiore and Katherine Norelli. He was a 1950 graduate of the Rome Free Academy High School, a decorated Korean War veteran and a 1957 graduate of Bryant College, Providence, RI. Fiore married Mary Zeoli of Geneva, NY on April 27, 1963. He retired from the Seneca Army Depot as a budget officer in 1988. In his retirement, Fiore enjoyed volunteering his time in the Geneva community. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church in Geneva, NY. He is survived by his brother, Angelo (Dorothy) Norelli; sister, Katherine Achtner and many nieces and nephews. Fiore was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; brother, Nick, Sr.; sister, Julia and brother-in-law, Edward Achtner.
