Obituary of Frederic Anthony George

Frederic Anthony George GENEVA- Frederic Anthony George, 75, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wed. (Aug. 22, 2012), at Rochester General Hospital. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sat. (Aug. 25), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Fr. Gregory Murphy officiating. A private burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery. In place of floral gifts, contributions can be made to St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church 98 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456. Frederic was born on July 2, 1937, in Geneva, and was a son of the late Abraham "Ex" and Frieda George. He owned and operated "George's Jewelry" and "George's Pool Room" in Geneva. Frederic was an avid coin and gun collector. He was a life member of the NRA and was a gun dealer. Frederic cherished the company of his family and friends. Of late, he most enjoyed his chair and remote control in his living room. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruth George of Florida; son, Michael (Laura Williams) George of Geneva; daughters, Robin Stuart of Maine and Louise (Steve) Wessie of Phelps; brother, Richard (Norma) George of Bath; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and his buddy Corky.
