Marjorie 'Marge' I. Kennedy GENEVA- Marjorie 'Marge' I. Kennedy, 93, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (May 2, 2013), in her home. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Fri. (May 10), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery in Seneca Falls. Contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice. Marge was born on March 16, 1920, in Geneva, and was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary (Tracey) Murray. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle demeanor, especially with her grandchildren, whom she enjoyed very much. Marge was the 'caregiver extraordinaire', tending to the needs of her family. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of St. Francis De Sales Church. Marge enjoyed playing cards with some of her best friends, and participating in the Silver Sneakers program at the Geneva Family YMCA. She is survived by her daughter, Karen I. (David) Ferris of Geneva; sons, Craig W. (Violet) Kennedy of Elmira and Douglas J. (Missy) Kennedy of Geneva; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Inscho, Michelle (Nick Sexton) Ferris, Craig (Judy) Kennedy, Eric Kennedy, Ashley Kennedy, Ellen (Matt Fisher) Kennedy and Derek (Asia Marin) Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Taylor Sexton, Holden Sexton, Madison Sexton, Jordan Kennedy, Adrianna Fisher, Maliyah Fisher, Brayden Kennedy; several nieces, nephews and personal caregiver for the past four years, Sue Fenner Marge was predeceased by her husband, George W. Kennedy in 1989 and siblings, Harold Murray, Clara Leonard, Mary Bennett and Kay Higgins.
