Obituary of John Clark

John "Tex" Clark GENEVA-John "Tex" Clark, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday (May 17, 2013) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo. Friends may call from 2-6 pm on Sunday (May19) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva, NY 14456. A funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Glenwood Cemetery after the funeral. Tex was born on June 10, 1926 in Kisatchie, LA and was the son of the late John and Dona (Dowden) Clark. He was stationed at Samson Air force Base in 1950. Tex married Jane (Passalacqua) Clark in 1951 and started their family. He worked for Geneva Forge, Garlock and retired from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Tex was an avid basketball and softball player. He played for the Geneva Recreation City Leagues basketball and slow pitch softball teams. Tex loved country music, dancing and fishing. He was a member of the Geneva American Legion, VFW and Moose Lodge. Tex is survived by Jane (Passalacqua) Clark, son Dr. John D. (Francesca) Clark of Seneca Falls, NY; daughter Brenda (Clark) Taylor of Hannibal, NY; brother Other "Pete" (Patty) Clark of Bryan, TX; sister Inez Clark of Bryan, TX; 5 grandchildren ; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Tex is predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
