Obituary of Robert LeClair Wheaton

Robert LeClair Wheaton SENECA FALLS- Robert L. Wheaton passed away at home, into the arms of God, surrounded by loved ones on Mon. (May 27, 2013). Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Fri. (May 31), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. (June 1) at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Whitney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be directed to the Calvary Lutheran Church, 2414 Route 414 North, Waterloo, NY 13165, in Robert's memory. He was born in North Hornell on June 12, 1940 to the late LeClair and Olene Wheaton. Robert graduated from Geneva High School class of 1959. He served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion Winnek Post 396. Robert retired in 1991 from the Eastman Kodak Company. He was a devoted member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Josephine 'Josie' Wheaton; son, Kenneth 'Ken' Wheaton; daughter, Kimberly 'Kim' (Lanny) Forcey; granddaughter, Emily Forcey; sisters, Carol Davids, Doris (Joe) Hessney and Betty Holtz; many nieces, nephews and dear friend, Dale Luzzi of Lake Mary, FL.
