Kathleen, We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing and please accept our sincere condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting you at the VA since my Dad, Wayne Wheeler, was Joe's roommate. My father thought the world of Joe and will miss him terribly as many will. He looked out for my Dad and those two were good for each other. My husband and I would get to talk with Joe when we visited from Texas and watch him and my Dad joke around with each other. Joe will be sorely missed and know that my father Wayne respected your husband and appreciated everyday he spent with him. We pray for your strength during this very trying time. Kathy, Joe was a blessing for our Dad (Wayne Wheeler). He looked after him, teased him and helped him everyday at the VA. They laughed and joked and truly cared for each other. We loved Joe and thought he was a very special man. He will be missed by all who knew him. So sorry for your loss. With Sympathy, David & Millie Eddy
