GENEVA- Theresa G. Piccillo, 92, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (Dec. 17, 2020), at the Geneva Living Center North. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tues. (Dec. 22), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Anyone in attendance must wear a face mask and follow the rules of social distancing. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Theresa was born on Sept. 6, 1928, in Pittston, PA and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline (Capizzi) Puma. She worked in food service at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and then as a waitress at Frank's Diner in Geneva. Theresa was very active in the Women's Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of Italy and St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. She liked to cook, travel and go out to eat with her husband, Joe. Above all, she loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Joseph R. Piccillo of Geneva; son, Russell J. Piccillo of Geneva; brother, Joseph Puma of Geneva; sister, Angie Deardorf of Spring Mills, PA; granddaughter, Teresa Brumbaugh of Dallas, TX; grandson, Joseph Hill of Phoenix, AZ; great-granddaughter, Taylor Brumbaugh; several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Carolyn S. Piccillo in 2018 and 10 brothers and sisters.
