My dearest sis,
when I met you, I was already 59 years old - and it changed my life. We both flew into each other’s arms immideately. We found so many similarities that sometimes we couldn’t believe it. You opened your heart to me and shared all the memories you had of our father, who had been only your father up to that moment. You were the most generous person I ever met. We could stay up almost all night together and talk. And laugh the contagious laugh we share. We traveled a lot together. We were both very interested in our family history and did a lot of research together. Last year we went to Liverpool and found our father’s birth certificate! We wrote a book together which brought us even closer. I miss you and I know I will always miss you. But in these memories you are alive.
