Toni Gergos
GENEVA- Toni Gergos, 70, passed away peacefully on Fri. (Jan. 29, 2021) at Rochester General Hospital with his children by his side. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fri. (Feb. 5) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with the V. Rev. Fr. Gregory Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Toni was born in Syria and was the son of the Mariam (Baroody) and late George U. Georges.
One could always find Toni selling vegetables on Washington St.
He is survived by his son, George T. (Enam) Georges of Geneva; daughter, Janan (John) Wassouf of Geneva; grandchildren, Tony and Tommy Georges, George, Dianna, Jason, Nahme & John Wassouf; great-granddaughter, Gracilla Georges; siblings; step-children, Belinda and Shawn Stowell.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his wife, Hanan Wassouf and companion Marlene Stowell.
