SYRACUSE/GENEVA- Tanya Ransom, 48 passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday March 10th. She was born December 9th, 1972 in Geneva, NY. Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Fri. (March 19), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., in the funeral home. She was the daughter of Myron and Sandy Ransom. She graduated from Geneva High School, which was a place that she really loved. Tanya enjoyed seeing people smile and being happy. She enjoyed making gifts and giving them to the people she loved. Tanya's face would light up when having conversation with her family, especially around the holidays. The love of music was a big thing for Tanya, as Mariah Carey was her favorite artist. Tanya enjoyed shopping, and going to church with her mother. She also liked going to the movies and taking long country rides. Tanya touched the lives of those she came into contact with, and she will be truly missed by many. She was a joy to be around, she had a heart of gold, a beautiful smile and the love she had for her family was priceless. Tanya is survived by her mother Sandra Ransom of Geneva, NY. Father Myron Ransom of Syracuse, NY, and sisters Veronica and Kim Ransom, both of Georgia. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
