GENEVA- Dorlene May French, 50, passed away peacefully on Thurs. (June 3, 2021), at the Geneva Living Center North. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tues. (June 8), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Dorlene was born on June 21, 1970, in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Gerald Thomas and Ruth Caroline (Fowler) Mitchell. She was a hard worker and a dedicated employee at Wal-Mart in Geneva. Dorlene cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and pet dog, Guy.
She is survived by her children, Ashley French of Geneva, Anthony French of Hornell and Tiffany French of Seneca Falls; grandchildren, Arabella, Giovanni and Logan; former husband, Scott French of Waterloo; siblings, Lloyd, Lillian, Linda, Jackie, Phyllis, Hazel and Ruthie; in-laws, Stewart and Susan Powers of Geneva; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
