William G. Rager GENEVA- William G.Rager, 84, passed away peacefully on Mon. (Nov. 15, 2021), at the Ontario Center Nursing Home. In honoring his wishes, there will be no services. Contributions in his name may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456 or a charity of one's choice. Bill was born on March 20, 1937, in Cambria, PA and was a son of the late William and Sally (Griffith) Rager. He was drafted into the United States Army and served proudly for two years. Bill worked as a lineman for AT&T then retired from Verizon, which was formerly NY Tel. He enjoyed working around the house, watching his sons play Little League Baseball, taking daily walks and traveling to casinos with his wife, Donna. Bill loved being around people especially his family, friends and neighbors. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Peace Parish. He is survived by his wife Donna (Pane) Rager of Geneva; son, Scott Rager of Geneva; several siblings; daughter-in-law, Lisa Rager of Geneva; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bill was predeceased by his son, Mark Rager; in-laws, Patrick and Anna (Mantell) Pane, Sr.; brother-in-law, Patrick Pane, Jr.; nephew, Michael Pane; brother, Gary Rager and sister, Dixie Rager.
