GENEVA- Mary C. Secor, 97, passed away peacefully on Fri. (Nov. 26, 2021), at Geneva General Hospital. In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456, or the Hydrant Hose Company, 79 Geneva, St. Geneva, NY 14456. Mary was born on April 4, 1924, in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Donato and Rose (Bimbo) Ruggieri. She was a graduate of De Sales High School. Mary moved to San Francisco, CA with her husband, Page. Shortly after his death, she returned to Geneva to be closer to her family, and raise their daughter, Doreen. Mary touched many lives and cherished the time that she spent with her Seneca Lake Terrace family. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She is survived by her daughter, Doreen L. Secor of Geneva; sister, Louise Foster of Geneva; sister-in-law, Shirley Ruggieri; nephews, Lawrence Foster, David Foster, John Ruggieri, Jr. and Robert DeGloma; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Page Secor; brother, John V. Ruggieri, Sr.; sisters, Carmella DeGloma and Emma Emerick; nephew, Thomas DeGloma.
