Obituary of Wilbur Lawrence Strickland
GENEVA- Wilbur "bud" Lawrence Strickland, AKA: SS44 Magnum to the gaming community, 53, passed away unexpectedly at home on Dec. 22, 2021.
Bud was born on June 30, 1968, in Penn Yan, NY to Lawrence W. Strickland and Jocelyn M. Gee. He worked construction for many years, masonry and then at Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY at a variety of positions. Bud had a love for GM cars, Corvettes, Camaros and Chevelles. He also loved playing FPS games.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Jack) Corwin; grandchildren, Isabelle, Abigail, Hannah, Jack III, Addison and David Corwin of Addison; brother, Paul (Amanda) Strickland, Larry (Marion) Strickland, Jack (Karen) Strickland, Walter Pitcher, Michael Pitcher, William Pitcher, Lyle (Jessica) Cornell; sisters, Mary and Sharon Strickland; several nieces and nephews. He also loved as his own, Linda's grandchildren, Jesse Brink, Jason Halstead and Jesse's daughter, Olivia.
In addition to his parents, Bud was predeceased by his longtime girlfriend, Linda Brink; brother, David Pitcher.
