Obituary of Darinca Iutchin

Darinca Iutchin GENEVA- Darinca Iutchin, 86, passed away peacefully on Fri. (Aug. 9, 2013), at the Geneva Living Center South. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Mon. (Aug. 12), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. An Orthodox funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with the V. Rev. Fr. Gregory Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Darinca was born on Aug. 7, 1927, in Satchinez, Romania, and was the daughter of the late Dragomir and Liubita Rachin. In 1973, she immigrated to join her husband, Timotei, and son, Valentin in Geneva after getting permission from the communist government of Romania. Darinca loved gardening, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren, whom she loved very much. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her son, Valentin 'Tino' (Sahar) Iutchin of Geneva; grandchildren, Timmy Iutchin of Geneva and Valentina Iutchin of Rochester. Darinca was predeceased by her husband, Timotei Iutchin on June 9, 1985.
