SENECA FALLS - Gerald Carter, 67, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Dec. 29, 2021), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 10 to 11 am Fri. (Jan. 7), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Gerald was born on Feb. 19, 1954, in Detroit, MI and was a son of the late Lewis and Julia Mae (Thomas) Carter. He worked maintenance at Geneva Middle School for many years. Gerald will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Cunningham) Carter; siblings, Sandra White, Beverly Haynes, Anthony Carter, Ray Carter and Norris (Deborah) Carter; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great, great nieces and great, great nephews. Gerald also had a Geneva family who loved him very much, including his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Denise Martin, Michael Parker, Michelle Parker, Tony and Tammy Cunningham, all of Geneva.

Gerald was predeceased by his brothers, James Lewis (Barbara), Herb (Joanne), Leroy (Dorothy), Donald (Mary) and Ronald (Sandra) ; sister, Dolores (Charles).
