GENEVA- James Joseph "Jim / Jamie" Cocola, 68, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Tues. (Jan. 18, 2022), at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call from 12pm to 2pm on Sunday (March 6) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. His funeral service will follow calling hours at 2pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450. Jim was born on Feb. 6, 1953, in Geneva and was the son of the late Nicholas and Antoinette (Saglimbeni) Cocola. He played trumpet, traveling around the country with the Appleknocker's and even performed with, "Wilmer and the Dukes". Jim was a member of the Geneva Model Airplane Club and enjoyed cars, racing, hunting, target shooting, fishing, camping and surrounding himself with friends and family. He is survived by his sons, Nicholas Cocola of Tampa, Fla., and Brandon (Megan) Cocola of Waterloo; grandchildren, Enzo and Gio Cocola, Mackenzie and Brooklyn Cocola.
