Obituary of Deborah Weller

Deborah Maglier Weller GENEVA-Deborah Maglier Weller, 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday (Aug. 8, 2013) at home with her loving family by her side after a long, courageous battle. Born June 19, 1952 in Hornell, NY, to the late Donald Maglier and Virginia Lippincott, Deborah attended Hornell High School, and was married in 1971 to Mark Dodge. She raised her four daughters in Hornell, and later Geneva, where she worked as a nurse's aide. She was remarried in 2004 to Gary Weller of Geneva who survives. Deborah will especially be be remembered for her great love of family (especially her grandchildren), deep and unwavering faith, infectious holiday spirit, and amazing strength and perseverance. She was a faithful friend and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her husband, Deborah is survived by the loves of her life, daughters Kerry Stephens of Victor, Jennifer (John) Albrecht of Alfred Station, Julie Dodge of Geneva, and Markie (Harry, Jr.) Gramling of Geneva; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Madeline and Jack Stephens; Irie, Gwendolyn and Jax Albrecht; and Natalie Dodge. Deborah also leaves her loving siblings Julie (Michael) McLaughlin of Geneva, Kathy (David) Smith of Hornell, Kim (Ross) DiFrancesca of Rochester, Michael (Marcia) Maglier of Webster and James (Pam) Maglier of Webster, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special caretakers. Friends may call Tuesday (Aug. 13) from 12 to 2 pm at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home, LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A celebration of her life will follow at 4 pm at First Love Church, Geneva. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and volunteers of Strong Memorial Hospital Solid Organ Transplant team and Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Hospice for their help and support.
