Michelle Y. Lockwood, 54, of Geneva, passed away, very unexpectedly on Thursday, January 20th, in her home. Michelle was born on November 16th 1967, to her mother, Gladys Huyler. She was born in Urbana and spent the majority of her childhood in Wayne, NY. She enjoyed playing video games on her tablet including Yahtzee, Spades, and Euchre. Watching games shows like The Price is Right and Lets Make a Deal with her boyfriend, spending time with her cat, Patty. Most of all Michelle found joy and happiness in spending time with her grandchildren. They made her so very proud. Michelle was predeceased by her husband, father of her youngest sons, Eugene Clark. They lived together in Corning, NY until his passing in 2004. She is also predeceased by her mother, Gladys and her younger brother, Douglas Lockwood. Michelle is survived by her long-time boyfriend, Michael Adams; four children Kevin Failing and his wife Courtney, Nichole Taft and her husband Kenneth, Joshua Lockwood and his wife Nicole, and Jarrod Lockwood; two step-sons Eric Clark and his wife Michele Mihalko, and Ralph Clark; grandchildren Erica, Emily, Nevaeh, Anthony, Phoenix, Colton, Haydyn, Payton, and Paxtyn; One unborn grandson, Barrett; three sisters Janice Brotz, Julie Stewart, and Christine Cross and her husband Mark; brother, Randy Huyler; seven nephews, four nieces, and several great nieces and nephews. Michelle was a beautiful soul and had a heart of gold. All of her children's friends were always treated as her own. She was always putting someone before herself. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Services are delayed until all of her children can be present. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the ASPCA as Michelle was an avid cat lover.
