GENEVA- Luis Martinez, Jr., 78, passed away peacefully on Wed. (March 2, 2022), at Geneva Living Center North. There will be no calling hours. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.
Luis was born on Nov. 7, 1943, in Puerto Rico and was a son of the late Luis and Carmen (Brito) Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Emilia Martinez of Geneva; children, Sylvia (Roberto) Santiago of Glendale, NY, Vimarie Martinez of Puerto Rico, Andrina (Davy) Rivera of Utica, Maria Martinez of Geneva, Louis Martinez of PA, David Martinez of New Orleans, LA and Jacob Martinez of Geneva; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers; step-children, Jorge Vega, Jennifer Vega, Jonathan Vega and Ruthie Cartagena.
In addition to his parents, Luis was predeceased by his son, Luis A. Martinez and sister, Chede Martinez.
