WATERLOO- Tom Agonito, age 50, passed away at home on Saturday (April 9, 2022) from cancer.
In honoring his wishes, the services will be private.
He was born on February 13, 1972, in Ft. Meade, Md., the son of Charles C. and Carla (Caple) Agonito. Tom was a graduate of Waterloo High School and Finger Lakes Community College. He worked as a day hab specialist with Seneca-Cayuga ARC.
Tom was a well known horse owner and rider and competed in 4-H and Saddle Club events. He was also an aviation buff, knowledgeable about the history of all types of airplanes, and had a large collection of aviation artwork. Tom enjoyed numerous airshows. He was a Buffalo Bills season ticket holder, and traveled the country to see professional baseball and basketball games.
He is survived by his parents; sister, V.G. Caple; grandmother, Betty Caple; aunts, Marsha Bird, Elizabeth (Michael) Swisco and Marie Bassett.
