Dr. Arthur Hamilton GENEVA-Dr. Arthur Hamilton, 92, passed away peacefully on Wed. (July 28, 2022) at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care in Canandaigua. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 1) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva, NY. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 2) in the Grace Church Willowdale, 3886 East Lake Road, Geneva, NY. Burial will follow in the Grace Willowdale Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, New York 14620 in His memory. Dr. Hamilton was born on March 9, 1930 in Ballymena, Northern Ireland and was the son of the late Olivia and Frederick Hamilton. He was an Anesthesiologist for 35 yrs. at Geneva General Hospital. Dr. Hamilton was a graduate of Queen's University in Belfast. He completed his residency in Montreal. Dr. Hamilton was a ship's doctor through the Mediterranean to Shanghai. He enjoyed rugby. He was a co-captain on the Ballymena Rugby Club at college. He is survived by his children; Patricia(Dave Armer) Hamilton of Geneva, Fred (Nina) Hamilton of Canandaigua, and Shelagh (Matt) Sipos of Maryland; grandchildren Emily and Audrey Adams, Abbey and Alex Sipos; great grandchildren Eloisa, Kaden and Ava. Dr. Hamilton is predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra Hamilton.
