I was a newly hired guidance counselor, fresh out of graduate school when I started working at Hilton High School. John’s office was across from mine. I had lots of questions and he took me under his wing. He was knowledgeable, kind, and patient with me. That picture is how I remember him. My condolences to Joanne and his family. I will always remember his kindness and gentle manner.
